How to Make Paper Autumn Leaves for Cardmaking

September for me is one of the most beautiful months.

Here in the UK it is still sunny and warm, leaves are turning from green to gold, red, brown, purple!

The big tree in my garden already is changing the leaves color, on the top, they are red, so beautiful.

For me it is also time to slow down after the Summer holiday, children are back to school,

I'm back to my routine :) I'm enjoying the peace and quiet :D

Anyway! I'm coming with inspiration for 14 Craft Bar, Autumn card with many leaves:

For the flowers, I used new foamiran colors from 14 Craft Bar - Bric, Pistachio and Bronze
Papers are from P13 - Autumn collection, for the flowers and leaves I used Lady E Design cutting dies

How to make beautiful Autumn leaves for cardmaking?
I have a step by step tutorial for you :)
A simple way of coloring them!!!!

You will need:
Leaf-cutting dies - I used Lady E Design Leaves 7 set
watercolor paper - mine is 160gsm
brown, red, green inks - I used Ranger Distress & Memento Inks
sponges for inking - I use ordinary kitchen washers cut into pieces

1st step is to die cut your leaves:
now you only need to ink them :D

Brown & golden leaf:
apply Brushed Corduroy distress ink on one side of the leaf
apply distress Vintage Photo on the other side
apply the lighter and darker green on the middle bottom part of the leaf  - Memento Northern Pine & Bamboo Leaves

Green leaves:
apply Memento Northern Pine on the top of the leaf
use lighter color now - Bamboo Leaves - but go over the darker color too
repeat :)
Now you have your leaves ready to go on the cards!

Thank you :)
