I came up with the idea of a red door on the card while making another project.

I was using very nice red acrylic paint for the roof of a house, 

I thought! a red door would be also nice :)

So I grabbed the door made out of air-dry clay and painted red.

After that, I started to look for dark green paper and already had an idea for a Christmas card!
