Raspbery Garden Birthday Card & Video

Today I reached for one of my fav Lemoncraft paper collections - Raspberry Garden.

I love the elements that you can find in this set of scrapbooking papers and the flowers that are almost on every page, also for fussy cutting.

Light in colour and not too busy papers are the perfect background for a busy floral, layered composition :) I tried to keep it simple but you know how it is with me! I love layers. This time I focused on one side of the card as I wanted to show a beautiful design on the paper.

Inspired by the flowers on the papers I created matching ones out of foamiran using Lady E Design Flower 10 cutting die set. Some of the flowers I used when I was creating an album from the same collection, luckily few flowers left so I could use them on my handmade card.

Compositions sit on 2 wood slices - fussy cut from the collection, these are in different sizes in the pad. This card is 11x18cm so it is not in the typical size but I wanted the base not to be very tall and also not as slim as DL cards. Making a non-standard card base was a good choice, it allowed me to have a layered composition but at the same time not covered the paper completely!

For the leaves, I used a set of dies from Die-Cutting magazine 98 all leaves in the set are just beautiful and they cut perfectly!

The gorgeous CLOCK self-adhesive badge is also from the Raspberry Garden collection.

Would you like to make a similar card?
I have a short video for you to see the steps I took to achieve the above result, I hope this will help you:
